Delegation from Vologda Region brought 42 prestigious awards from XXVII Russian Agricultural Exhibition Golden Autumn-2025.

The 27th Russian Agricultural Exhibition Golden Autumn 2025 was held from the 8th of October till 11th of October 2025 in Moscow.

Cooperation between Vologda and Almaty regions was discussed in St. Petersburg.

A working meeting between head of the Vologda Region Representative Office Yuri Lilein and Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in St. Petersburg Dmitry Mikhno took place in St. Petersburg on Oct 10.

Vologda is taking part in the competition "Cultural Capital of Russia 2027".

The popular vote for the "Cultural Capital 2027" will last until December 5.

XII All-Russian Belov Readings will be held in Vologda on Oct 22- 25.

Vasily Belov is a Vologda-born writer, poet and dramatist who published more than sixty books.

The 2025 Golden Autumn Russian Agro-Industrial Exhibition is held on October 8-11, 2025, at the Timiryazev Exhibition Center in Moscow, marking the 27th edition of the event.

Vologda’s museums are offering its residents free access to all permanent exhibits on Oct 15.

Every 3rd Wednesday of the month, exhibition halls and galleries are free of charge in the Vologda Region. The museum admission is free for Vologda’s schoolchildren and students and residents of the region. Entry to the permanent collections of the Vologda State Museum-Preserve and Vologda Picture Gallery is free; while charges may apply for special exhibitions.

More than 1 mln cu m of timber products were shipped from Vologda Region in 2025.

From January 1 to September 30 of 2025, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) monitored the export of more than one million cubic meters of timber products from the Vologda Region.

International Exhibition Russian Forest will be held in Vologda in December.

The opening of the International Forest Forum and Exhibition Russian Forest is scheduled for December 5. The business events will be held in the Russky Dom exhibition complex and in the buildings of the Vologda Region Government.

Vologda State Museum-Reserve has won an award of the Ministry of Culture of Russia for its contribution to the development of the Pushkin Card program.

The award ceremony took place at the Beethoven Hall of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. Tatyana Golikova, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, addressed the laureates with a welcoming speech.
