In the run-up to the New Year, Ded Moroz is travelling across foreign countries. This winter, Ded Moroz from Veliky Ustyug will visit 20 foreign cities.
The Pushkinskaya Karta project (Pushkin cards) which provides Russian young people with free access to the treasures of Russian culture started working on September 1, 2021. Its participants are Russian museums, theaters, concert halls, philharmonic societies, libraries and other centers of culture of federal and local significance, including private ones.

The project is organized by the Vologda Region Government.

Ded Moroz set off on trip to Russian regions on November 19, 2025. Ded Moroz' traditional New Year trip will last till January 11, 2026. The train will stop at over 70 Russian cities and towns.
