The Vologda Region boasts a steady and significant growth in the tourist flow: in 2025 the number of tourists in the Vologda Region increased by 58% compared to the same period of 2024.
The trade fair will be held on December 19-21, 2025. Textiles, souvenirs, handicrafts, natural cosmetics, clothing, accessories and food products will be on display at Russky Dom Exhibition Centre.
Since the beginning of 2025, 45 batches of birch veneer have been exported from the Vologda Region. All products meet the phytosanitary requirements of the importing countries.

"Pushkin Card" needs to be reissued by December 28.
The Pushkinskaya Karta project (Pushkin cards) which provides Russian young people with free access to the treasures of Russian culture started working on September 1, 2021. Its participants are Russian museums, theaters, concert halls, philharmonic societies, libraries and other centers of culture of federal and local significance, including private ones.

Ded Moroz Train is to arrive in Vologda on January 10.
Ded Moroz set off on his trip to Russian regions on November 19, 2025. Ded Moroz' traditional New Year trip will last till January 11, 2026. The train will stop at over 70 Russian cities and towns.
Ladya is an exhibition for the Russian craftwork. Artists of the whole country take part there presenting the visitor many unique and world-famous artworks.
The Vologda Region Governor made a presentation on the development of international cooperation in the region.
In 2019, the free museum day program was initiated to make cultural institutions more accessible. The program is applied for every 3rd Wednesday of the month.
