The exhibition of the Vologda State Museum-Preserve travelled throughout Russia (Arkhangelsk, Cheboksary, Orenburg, Kirov, Vladimir, Suzdal, Moscow, St. Petersburg) and to such countries as Iran, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, China and Slovakia.
The North-Western Interregional Rosselkhoznadzor Department monitored the shipment of lumber and sawn timber from the Vologda Region to Uzbekistan. All timber products were checked by the agency's inspectors and underwent the necessary laboratory tests for compliance with the phytosanitary requirements of the importing country.

Vologda Region exported 23 tons of technical fat to Poland.
In April 2026, 23 tons of technical fat were exported from the Vologda Region to Poland.
A large-scale project "Spring in the Russian North" is launched on the initiative of Governor Georgy Filimonov. It will feature thousands events covering different genres and styles of music, crafts and theatre. Over 10,000 events will be held in the Vologda Region.
Issues of socio-economic development of the region and its legislative initiatives were in the highlight of the discussion. Saving the health of citizens, a complex, multi-faceted challenge was also touched upon.

International Museum Day has been celebrated worldwide on May 18 since 1977. To mark the occasion, the Museum Night event invites visitors to explore exhibitions late into the night.
