The Governor emphasized that one of the main objectives of the Investment Council is to make recommendations for assigning a status of priority investment projects with the state support in the form of tax exemptions.

The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation published the list of 500 best schools of Russia. Three educational institutions of the Vologda Region are on the list of the 500 best schools of Russia-2015. The Vologda multi-discipline lyceum is in the Top 25 of the best schools, which showed high educational outcomes in the 2014-2015 academic year. Two more educational establishments – Vologda school #1 and Cherepovets Lyceum are included into the list of the 500 best schools of Russia-2015.
