Today Mr. Kuvshinnikov will deliver a budget report at the Vologda Legislative Assembly.

Dmitry Rogozin has been Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, in charge of defense and space industries since 2011.

Increase in production output of Vologda’s enterprises for the needs of the military-industrial complex of Russia, nuclear and space industry, aircraft building and shipbuilding was in the highlight of discussion with Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin in Moscow.

The Regional State Council is an advisory body to the Governor, which deals with issues of the highest importance to the region as a whole.

The celebration took place at Ded Moroz's Votchina, a few miles outside Veliky Ustyug. Ded Moroz's birthday is the day when he, not the children, receives presents and souvenirs from his colleagues.

According to Mr. Jaipuria, the Indian delegation arrived in Vologda to study the possibility of increasing dairy production at the plant. As soon as the company gets all documents for investment project implementation and a license to do business as a milk manufacturer, it will upgrade existing equipment to begin with. Then the Indian company plans to extend production of dairy products.

Oleg Kuvshinnikov will hold a direct communication session during which he will respond to questions from citizens of the Vologda Region.

The Governor paid a working visit to the District of Nyuksenitsa as part of a series of visits throughout the Vologda Oblast examining economic and social development of regions.

The letter reads: “In 2015 we marked the 70th anniversary of Victory Day. World War II involved the vast majority of the world's nations including all of the great powers. Marked by mass deaths of civilians and the strategic bombing of industrial and population centres it resulted in millions of fatalities. Unfortunately, there are people who want to rewrite history, revise the outcome of the war. The Prague authorities are mulling dismantling a monument to renowned Soviet marshal Ivan Konev. For us, residents of the Vologda Region, the feat of our fellow countryman will remain a symbol of courage and patriotic spirit. Vologda’s residents insist that the monument should stay.”

On Tuesday, November 3rd, 2015, Vologda Oblast Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov received the honoured citizen award which recognises his remarkable contribution into Cherepovets City development.

On November 4th Russia will mark National Unity Day, one of the recently established public holidays. The public holiday was established in honour of events of 1612 when Russian voluntary troops commanded by Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky liberated Moscow from foreign invaders.
