The meeting of the head of the Federal Road Agency (Rosavtodor) and Vologda Oblast Governor took place within the framework of the International Investment Forum Sochi-2015.
The Sochi International Investment Forum is a modern platform for constructive dialogue between business and government that is necessary for the successful implementation of major investment projects on Russian territory.
This information is presented in the rating of Russian regions carried out by rating agency RIA Rating. RIA Rating presented a rating of the Russian regions in terms of industry development, tax collection, and the volume of gross regional product per capita.
The project “Veliky Ustyug - Hometown of Ded Moroz” is included into the Strategy for Socio-Economic Development of Vologda Region until 2030. This decision was taken at a meeting of the local government chaired by Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov.
A press breakfast with journalists was held as part of a series of meetings of Vologda’s journalists with top leadership of the Vologda Oblast Government. This time, representatives of federal mass media were welcomed to attend a press breakfast with the head of the region.

Today Vologda Oblast Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov handed over the keys of 28 emergency vehicles to seven districts of the Vologda Oblast.

Vologda’s products are on display at the Russky Dom Exhibition Centre.
The 2nd agriculture trade fair that was opened in Vologda today is Vologda Region’s largest agriculture exhibition attracting exhibitors and local companies who are displaying the latest agricultural products and services.
To begin with, the Governor inspected a new traffic signal which had recently been opened in one of the settlements in the outskirts of Cherepovets. A new traffic light system is due to improve journey times for drivers and to minimise queuing. The traffic lights will control the flow of vehicles and pedestrians to improve safety and access to roads.
