President of Russia Vladimir Putin and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko took part in the Forum. The emphasis of the forum was on the Union State’s industrial policy, common approaches and regional aspects. Participants included the heads of the Russian Federation Council and State Duma, the Republic Council and House of Representatives of Belarus, the Union State Standing Committee, heads of key ministries and agencies, regional executive and legislative heads from both countries, and representatives from big business and public and scientific organisations.
Vologda Oblast Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov is taking part in the 2nd Belarus-Russia Forum of Regions in Sochi.
The Moscow Autumn Festival will be held on September 4 - October 11.
The Forum will take place from 17 to 18 September 2015. The 2nd Forum of Regions of Russia and Belarus in Sochi is a modern platform for constructive dialogue between Russia and Belarus that is necessary for the successful implementation of industrial policy.
The visit was arranged as part of a series of visits throughout the Vologda Oblast examining economic and social development of regions.
Today Vologda Oblast Governor will work in the District of Tot’ma, the oblast's third biggest district in terms of total area.
The participants of the meeting were Andrey A. Guryev, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, Member of the Board of Directors, Andrey G. Guryev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General Mikhail Rybnikov.

Mr. Kuvshinnikov focused on the readiness of energy generating companies by the 2015-2016 heating season. According to him, the readiness of social infrastructure facilities for winter is one of the most important issues, since timely and quality provision of heat directly affects the health of people and especially children.
