From December 3 through 5 Vologda will host exhibitors from Russian regions and such foreign countries as Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Latvia and Belarus.
The meeting with Danish Consul General in St Petersburg Thorbjørn Lindmark, the representatives of the Royal Danish Consulate in St. Petersburg and Danish business circles was held within the framework of the International Exhibition-fair Russian Wood that started its work in Vologda on December 3.
The Annual Address of Mr. Putin is to begin at midday in the Kremlin’s St George Hall with around 1100 people invited to attend.

VI International Gavrilin Festival came to a close in Vologda.
The festival which lasted from October 1 through December 2, 2014 is named after Valery Gavrilin, the great Russian composer, People's artist of Russia who was born in Vologda.
“For more than a decade Vologda gathers industry professionals, representatives of government bodies, forestry business experts, scientists and public figures. I wish all the guests of the international exhibition "Russian Wood" effective dialogue, fruitful exchange of experiences, new projects and plans”, said Oleg Kuvshinnikov.
The Russian Wood, an exhibition for innovation technologies to be applied in the timber industry, in production of technological equipment for forestry and manufacture of wood and wood-working articles is an event with a long tradition. It will take place for the 19th time in 2014.
Russian Ded Moroz l lit up the first New Year’s tree on his birthday, on November 18th, and set off for his pre-New Year journey. By tradition, a lot of guests came to Veliky Ustiug for Ded Moroz’s birthday. His friends and colleagues from other Russian cities and the near abroad gathered there.
