The International Forum “Social Innovations. Youth League” was organized in Vologda on September 3-5. Guests to Vologda City, international and Russian experts, as well as residents of the regional capital were able to discuss volunteering, social planning, personnel policy, principles of open government and the role of youth in development of cities and towns.
The Finnish delegation of experts in the field of public relations, members of the youth parliament of the city is led by Deputy Mayor of Kouvola Mr. Jukka Nyberg.

Vologda Region and Kazakhstan to deepen economic and cultural ties.
First Deputy Governor of the Vologda Oblast Alexei Sherlygin met with Consul General of Kazakhstan Ermek Primbetov. The meeting took place at the Vologda Oblast Government.

Vologda Region is stepping up cooperation with Germany.
A delegation from Hannover, Germany is to arrive in the Vologda Region on a three-day duration visit next week. The German delegation representing leading businesses and tourist companies will be led by President of Hannover Hauke Jagau.
