Vologda Region and Belarus are to launch a machine-building cluster.
Today Vologda Oblast Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov met with Director General of the Minsk Tractor Works (Belarus) Fyodor Domotenko in Cherepovets. The meeting that took place at the Cherepovets Founding and Mechanical Plant was devoted to development and strengthening of partnership ties between the Republic of Belarus and the Vologda Oblast.
The brand was created to unite the inhabitants of the region on the basis of common cultural and historical heritage and to pass over those values to other generations.
The festival Voices of History, which emerged in 1991 as a review of the performances of professional theatres in the historical and architectural ensemble of the unique environment of the Vologda Kremlin has long been a hallmark of the Vologda Region, a favourite festival of all theatre-goers. In 2003 it received an international status. The theatre festival is held every two years in June.
