The representatives of German business circles arrived in Vologda on a three-day duration visit aiming to establish economic links with the Vologda Oblast.
The participants of the meeting were Andrey A. Guryev, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, Member of the Board of Directors, Andrey G. Guryev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General Mikhail Rybnikov.
The German delegation representing leading businesses and tourist companies is led by President of Hannover Hauke Jagau.
The Vologda Regional Academic Library will host a photo exhibition of Czesław Miłosz, a Polish poet, prose writer, translator and diplomat. The black and white photos were taken by a well-known Polish photographer Elżbieta Lempp.

Mr. Kuvshinnikov focused on the readiness of energy generating companies by the 2015-2016 heating season. According to him, the readiness of social infrastructure facilities for winter is one of the most important issues, since timely and quality provision of heat directly affects the health of people and especially children.
The International Forum “Social Innovations. Youth League” was organized in Vologda on September 3-5. Guests to Vologda City, international and Russian experts, as well as residents of the regional capital were able to discuss volunteering, social planning, personnel policy, principles of open government and the role of youth in development of cities and towns.
The Finnish delegation of experts in the field of public relations, members of the youth parliament of the city is led by Deputy Mayor of Kouvola Mr. Jukka Nyberg.

First Deputy Governor of the Vologda Oblast Alexei Sherlygin met with Consul General of Kazakhstan Ermek Primbetov. The meeting took place at the Vologda Oblast Government.
