The event is organized by the RF Ministry of Economic Development, Vologda Oblast Government, Vologda Region Development Corporation and Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Support. The international conference is arranged with an active backing of the Russia-Britain Chamber of Commerce, the Russian-German Chamber of Foreign Trade, the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia, the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), embassies of foreign states in Russia, Enterprise Europe Network – Russia Consortium and other government-related organizations that promote mutually beneficial trade and investment.

The Forum devoted to cooperation of Russian and Bulgarian small- and medium-sized business was held in Sofia, Bulgaria, on November 10-13, 2015. Over 30 Russian and Bulgarian companies attended the event in Sofia as part of the governments’ efforts to boost the export potential of Russian and Bulgarian small and medium-sized enterprises.

According to Mr. Jaipuria, the Indian delegation arrived in Vologda to study the possibility of increasing dairy production at the plant. As soon as the company gets all documents for investment project implementation and a license to do business as a milk manufacturer, it will upgrade existing equipment to begin with. Then the Indian company plans to extend production of dairy products.

The letter reads: “In 2015 we marked the 70th anniversary of Victory Day. World War II involved the vast majority of the world's nations including all of the great powers. Marked by mass deaths of civilians and the strategic bombing of industrial and population centres it resulted in millions of fatalities. Unfortunately, there are people who want to rewrite history, revise the outcome of the war. The Prague authorities are mulling dismantling a monument to renowned Soviet marshal Ivan Konev. For us, residents of the Vologda Region, the feat of our fellow countryman will remain a symbol of courage and patriotic spirit. Vologda’s residents insist that the monument should stay.”
