In early June a collection of Vologda lace will be displayed in Tønder, a town in the Region of Southern Denmark.

Tønder is a city in Denmark (South Jutland) that had an important lace industry in the 17th and 18th centuries. Say the word “lace" and Danes think of Tønder. Lacemaking has always been a specifically Danish industry.

A botanical garden, the largest plant collection in Vologda was opened on May 20.
