A Swiss patron of art Amelia Hussar will arrive in Vologda to present Swiss laces to the Vologda State Museum-Preserve.
On August 13 church bells will sing out in unison in the old Russian town of Tot'ma, located about 500 miles northeast of Moscow (Vologda Region, Russia) and Fort Ross (USA).

Vologda Region and Belarus will launch a machine-building cluster.
The machine-building cluster will be established at the Cherepovets Founding and Mechanical Plant. The top leadership of the Minsk Tractor Works and the Minsk Automobile Works will arrive in the Vologda Region on August 5.
A press breakfast was held as part of a series of meetings of Vologda’s journalists with top leadership of the Vologda Oblast Government.
On July 31, the small town of Totma in Russia’s Vologda Region will celebrate Russian America Day at the same time as Fort Ross in northern California, once the southernmost outpost of the Russian empire in the Americas and founded by Totma native Ivan Kuskov.
“Armenia and Russia are bound by long-standing friendship, so we are very happy that a delegation from Armenia has arrived in the Vologda Region on an official visit”, said Vologda Oblast Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov.
The main objective of the visit is to establish friendly and partnership relations between the Vologda Region and Armavir, to define guidelines for collaboration.
