Vologda Region exported 44 tons of technical fat to Poland.
Technical fat is made from that part of the animal base, which it is not possible to use in the production of food products. However, it can be successfully used for the manufacture of cosmetics, the production of grease and other technical liquids.

Applications from artisans have been received in the following categories - traditional female crafts, wooden and birch bark craft painting, valenki (kind of felt boots), wood engraving and wicker-work, blacksmithing, potter's craft and forgotten handicrafts.

Black caviar from Vologda Region will be exported to Sri Lanka.
Black caviar is one of the most expensive food products in the world. The Vologda Region produces black caviar at the only enterprise, Diana, which is a part of the Russian Caviar House group of companies.
Festival Summer project set up in Vologda in 2014 will host several inter-regional and international events covering different genres and styles of cinema, literature, crafts and theatre.
