Vologda and Cherepovets will host VOICES Festival on July 3-7.
Since 2010 the VOICES (Vologda Independent Cinema from European Screens) Festival has been held in Vologda, an old Russian city in northwestern Russia.
XVI International Theatre Festival Voices of History will be held in Vologda from June 19 to 27.
In March 2024, 2000 cubic meters of birch veneer produced by Vologda’s enterprises have been exported to China, Egypt and Vietnam. All products meet the phytosanitary requirements of the importing country.

Library Night campaign in Vologda will take place on April 20.
Library Night is an annual Russia-wide event dedicated to books and reading.
“Since the beginning of the year, the enterprises of Vologda Region have exported agricultural products to 19 countries. Uzbekistan, China and Belarus are the most active trade partners of the Vologda Region. The enterprises of the Vologda Region have exported more than 5,000 tons of agro-industrial products in the amount of USD 10,8 mln," said Georgy Filimonov, Acting Governor of the Vologda Region.
