Meeting devoted to the 71st anniversary of reversal of blockade of Leningrad was held in Vologda today.

Vologda Oblast Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov took part in the meeting devoted to the liberation of Leningrad (Now St. Petersburg) from the Nazi blockade in WWII. The battle for Leningrad, the longest one in the Great Patriotic War, lasted nearly 900 days.

Vologda Oblast entered the “Business Guide of Russia’s North-West” released by the German-Russian Chamber of Commerce (Deutsch-Russische AHK).

Business Guide Nordwest is a general guide for companies operating in or considering investment into the Russian Federation. The guide presents an overview of the key aspects of the economic potential of Russian regions and a review of business activities.
