Volunteers from Spain, Italy, Turkey and South Korea arrived in the Vologda Region to help restore a mansion in the settlement of Kurkino.

VOICES (Vologda Independent Cinema from European Screens Festival) will be held from July 3 through 6, 2015. The highlight of the festival is a cinematographic practice in style based on the production of full-length films by young directors on a predefined subject.

For many centuries the traditional crafts that are steeped in legends and tales have brought joy to the Russians because of their skillfully worked designs. Many kinds of folk arts were brought to perfection in the Vologda Region.
Large investment projects of the Vologda Oblast will be presented within the framework of the Days of Vologda Oblast in St. Petersburg where investors will be able to get acquainted with the potential of Vologda’s industrial parks, special economic zones and enterprises of the Vologda Region.
