Argentine Culture Days will kick off in Vologda on September 28.
Argentine Culture Days in Vologda will be held from September 28th throughout October 1st. Within the days of Argentine Culture in Vologda, numerous events ranging from exhibitions and excursions to tango master classes to a lecture on the Spanish language to tasting of Argentine cuisine dishes will be organized.
The festival of Russian culture Feel Russia will be held on September 25-26, 2015.
On September 22nd, a delegation of Vologda’s experts led by Kirill Toropov, head of the Economic Development Department participated in the Russian-Chinese Forum arranged at the Greenwood Business Park in Moscow. The delegation from Vologda was invited by President of the Greenwood Business Park in Moscow Cai Guiru.
To begin with, the Governor inspected a new traffic signal which had recently been opened in one of the settlements in the outskirts of Cherepovets. A new traffic light system is due to improve journey times for drivers and to minimise queuing. The traffic lights will control the flow of vehicles and pedestrians to improve safety and access to roads.
The birch bark manuscript dating from the 14th century was found in Vologda. It produced a furore in the audience at the international scientific conference “Complex Approach to Study of Ancient Russia”. About 200 scholars from eight countries of the world participated in it.
The Czech experts in health care system came to Vologda to get acquainted with Vologda’s medical institutions and public health care.
