VOICES (Vologda Independent Cinema from European Screens) is an international full-length feature-film Festival which has become the unique place for meeting young filmmakers. Every year it presents the creations of both well-known directors and beginners.

Export of technical fat from the Vologda Region increased by 19%.
Three shipments of technical fat with a total weight of 92 tons were sent from the Vologda Region to Poland.
Vologda City is taking part in the competition "Cultural Capital of Russia 2027". The popular vote for the "Cultural Capital 2027" will last until December 5. More than 4,500 people have already voted for Vologda to become the "Cultural Capital".

Vologda's timber products are in high demand in China.
In the first four months of this year, timber exports from the Vologda Region increased by 8%.
Kirillov will become home to a festival of historical reenactment "Kirillo-Belozersky Siege" on June 21-22. The festival has been staged in the Kirillo-Belozersky museum for several years. This festival is one of the most spectacular summer events in Kirillov. Clubs from different Russian cities will take part in it.
