Ded Moroz Express Train to arrive in Vologda on January 10, 2025.
This year, the Ded Moroz Train is to set off for a New Year journey on November 19. The train will stop at Vologda, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Chita, Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Chelyabinsk, Ufa, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Moscow and St. Petersburg and other cities.

Vologda City has the federal importance status.
Vologda is included in the list of historical settlements of federal significance. The document was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.
Trade, economic, tourism and cultural potential of the Vologda Region will be presented on November 18-22 in the People's Republic of China. The event will be held with the support of the Russian Embassy in Beijing.
The New Year project “Ded Moroz Train” is being implemented by Russian Railways together with the regional administration. The festival is named after Valery Gavrilin, the great Russian composer, People's artist of Russia who was born in Vologda. This year it is devoted to the 85th birthday anniversary of Valery Gavrilin.
