Over the last three months the dancers of Vologda’s folk company “Russian North” performed in Finland, France and some Russian cities. The dancers toured around the world with great success. Every year the ensemble performs on tours throughout Russia and abroad. Since 1993 "Russian North" has taken part in international festivals in France, Belgium, Austria, Slovakia, Morocco and Argentina. Every time it offers a wonderful taste of Russia, Russian music and dance.
A delegation from Finland that includes representatives of ten leading companies is to arrive in the Vologda Region to participate in an international machine building conference on September 14th.

International ex-libris exhibition started its work in Vologda
36th International FISAE Congress was held in the ancient Russian city of Vologda in August 2016. There were over 200 delegates, from 15 countries, with good representation from continental Europe and the Far East (China, Poland, Italy, Belarus, Bulgaria, Romania, Germany, France, Finland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and others).
