On March 28th the members of PhosAgro’s Board of Directors participated in Capital Markets Day in London and discussed progress against the strategy to 2020 and their strategic outlook for the near term. In 2020 the company plans to increase exports of phosphate fertilizers by 20% ( 6.1 million tons) and increase its market share in Europe and Latin America.

Agriculture of the Vologda Oblast is represented by hundreds of enterprises of various organizational and legal forms. By virtue of natural conditions and economic factors, the following branches are developed in the region: grain-, potato-, flax-growing and cattle-breeding. Today, when almost 70 percent of agricultural products come from animal husbandry, nearly one-half of all arable land is used for raising feed crops.

A delegation from the Vologda Oblast led by First Deputy Governor Anton Koltsov paid a visit to Berlin, Germany. Mr. Koltsov coordinates the work of the executive bodies and local government divisions and issues instructions in the following areas: policy with regard to public security, proper regulation of social order and development of national economy.
