German businessmen will invest into Vologda Region.
Vologda Oblast Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov met with Matthias Schepp, Chairman of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce at the 21st St. Petersburg International Economic Forum that began its work in St. Petersburg today. The talks focused on enhancing bilateral economic cooperation and implementation of joint investment projects.
The meeting was chaired by Nikolai Tsukanov, Plenipotentiary Presidential Representative in the North Western Federal District.
Russian and U.S. politicians, cultural workers and experts will discuss the ways to boost cooperation and overcome differences between the two countries at a forum dubbed Fort Ross Dialogue which is held for the first time in the Russian cities of Pskov and Izborsk on May 29-30.
The 21st St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will take place from June 1-3, 2017. It will once again demonstrate Russia’s readiness to hold a mutually beneficial dialogue with the international community on the key issues of the global agenda concerning the economy and finances.
The Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve is a permanent participant of the Museum Geek Festival of Museum Multimedia. This year the museum employees presented a digital encyclopedia about Saint Cyril, a disciple of Saint Sergius of Radonezh who founded the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery in Northern Russia in 1397.

Vologda Oblast Governor entered Presidium of RF State Council.
President of Russia Vladimir Putin has approved new membership of RF State Council Presidium. The appropriate Edict was signed by head of state on May 25th.
In the framework of a 2 weeks tour throughout Russia, Bjorn Solli on guitar, Jon Wikan on drums, Natalia Skvortsova on piano and Philip Meshcheryakov on double bass performed for Vologda’s music-lovers.
Intermuseum 2017 International Museum Festival is taking place on May 25-29 at Manège Central Exhibition Hall. The structure of the Intermuseum includes: expositions from various Russian and international museums, competitions, business and cultural events, including a program for children.
