Kirillov is in top three Russia’s most popular small cities.
Kirillov is in the list of Russia's small cities that will be most popular destinations for summer vacationing, according to a study conducted by TourStat agency.
A press breakfast was held as part of a series of meetings of Vologda’s journalists with top leadership of the Vologda Oblast Government.
Severstal-metiz, an international metalware manufacturer with production sites in Russia, Ukraine and Italy will produce champagne wire muzzle (cage without cap) in cooperation with Tau Industries, Russian-Italian technological company, resident of the Skolkovo Innovation Centre.
Applications from artisans are received in the following categories - traditional female crafts, wooden and birch bark craft painting, valenki (kind of felt boots), wood engraving and wicker-work, blacksmithing, potter's craft and forgotten handicrafts. In addition to it, a unique contest for national cuisine will be held within the framework of the international festival “Voice of Crafts”.

During SPIEF-2017 the Vologda Region’s forum agreements were signed to the tune of RUR 20 billion. The programme of the forum was intense. The delegation from the Vologda Oblast held more than 30 meetings and signed 10 agreements.

Vologda Region is stepping up cooperation with Slovenia.
Within the framework of the 21st St. Petersburg Economic Forum Vologda Oblast Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov held negotiations with Zdravko Počivalšek, Slovenia’s Minister of Economic Development and Technology.
The focus of the meeting was on cooperation in the sphere of mechanical engineering, namely production of tractors.

Vologda Region and India are stepping up cooperation.
Cooperation of Vologda Region and India was discussed in the frames of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. First Deputy Governor Anton Koltsov had a meeting with president of the Indian Business Alliance in Moscow Sammy Kotwani.
On the second day of the 21st St. Petersburg Economic Forum Vologda Oblast Governor met with Stefanos Vafidis, CCHBC Eurasia member of Coca Cola Hellenic Group, general director of Coca Cola HBC Russia to sign an agreement on cooperation.
