The main objective of the visit is to get acquainted with the economic potential of the Vologda Region.
On a visit to the Vologda Region, Mr. Tsukanov held a meeting with the top leadership of the Vologda Oblast Government and discussed issues concerning socio-economic development of the region. Fulfilling the presidential policy decrees, implementation of the program on resettlement of citizens from dilapidated housing, construction of dwelling housing - these issues were indicated as priorities during the meeting.
The exhibition is organized by the Vologda State Museum-Preserve, the Russian Embassy in Germany and the representative office of the Russian Federal Agency for cooperation.
The Regional State Council is an advisory body to the Governor, which deals with issues of the highest importance to the region as a whole.
