The Russian Wood, exhibition for innovation technologies to be applied in the timber industry, in production of technological equipment for forestry and manufacture of wood and wood-working articles, will start its work in Vologda on December 5.
Today during a working trip to the District of Vashki Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov visited major institutions of social infrastructure, educational, cultural and sports objects of the settlement of Lipin Bor and met with the top leadership of the district.
On December 2-3, St. Petersburg will once again be the scene for one of the largest Gingerbread Festivals in Russia. Over 100 gingerbread creations from Russia and 10 foreign countries will be revealed there.

About RUB 2,5 bln will be invested into Vologda Region during 5 years within the framework of a federal project on formation of a comfortable urban environment.
