On March 13, 2023 Vologda State Museum-Preserve turned 100.
The Vologda State Museum-Preserve of History, Architecture and Decorative Arts is situated in the historical centre of the city - the Vologda Kremlin that consists of buildings constructed during four centuries (XVI- XIX). It is one of the largest museums of Russia's North.
ITM is officially supported by the Russian Federal Agency for tourism and other federal and professional organizations contributing to Russia's travel industry development. The show meets interests of all travel market participants (both Russian and foreign ones).
The conference “Russia’s North” held on March 2-5 in Tot’ma will gather over 70 experts from Russia. The event will touch upon problems of study and preservation of historical and cultural heritage.
This year Maslenitsa (Shrovetide) - the week before the beginning of Lent in the Orthodox Church - ran from 20 to 26 February.
