The curator of the exhibition is Andrey Martynov, a collector from Moscow. Exhibitions of his collections of contemporary oriental art have been repeatedly held in the Vologda Art Gallery and have always aroused great interest among visitors.
The project “Summer in the Kremlin” was launched in 2002. It alternates with the International Drama Festival “Voices of History”. Every two years the festival welcomes Vologda’s citizens and guests of the city with a special atmosphere.
The festival is aimed at popularization of folk arts and handicrafts. It will be arranged with an active backing of the Vologda City Administration and a Handicrafts Centre “Reznoi Palisad (Carved Fence)”.
The enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of the Vologda Region have mastered new markets. The list of new partners includes the Republic of Cameroon, the Republic of Kenya and Oman. Vologda ice cream and sturgeon caviar are delivered there.
The Vologda Region is famous for the quality and environmental friendliness of the top-quality Vologda products made with local raw materials and using traditional methods - dairy products, world famous Vologda butter, sausage, confectionery, honey, willow herb tea and others.
Technical fat is made from that part of the animal base, which it is not possible to use in the production of food products. However, it can be successfully used for the manufacture of cosmetics, the production of grease and other technical liquids.
