On the 10th of August, the International Children's Cultural Forum organized by the Russian Ministry of Culture will start in Moscow. The purpose of the forum is to identify and recognize talented children who have shown outstanding abilities in the field of culture and art. The forum also aims to open up new opportunities for intercultural dialogue.

32 folk groups and 20 craftsmen participated in Russian Folklore Festival on August 4-6. Craftsmen represented traditions and skills of wood carving, weaving, folk dolls, wood painting, patchwork, lace making and pottery. Folklore groups arrived in Verkhovazhye to share the cultural values and heritage of their ancestors through music and dance.
