Vologda Region will submit its entries in the National Geographic Traveler World Legacy Awards categories for 2016.

The World Legacy Awards are a groundbreaking collaboration between two giants in the world of travel: National Geographic and ITB Berlin. The awards are unprecedented in their international visibility and promotion, reaching National Geographic's global audience of more than 700 million people worldwide each month through its media platforms, products and events.

Vologda Region and Belarus will launch a machine-building cluster.

The machine-building cluster will be established at the Cherepovets Founding and Mechanical Plant. The top leadership of the Minsk Tractor Works and the Minsk Automobile Works will arrive in the Vologda Region on August 5.
