The work is carried out within the framework of the regional project "Export of agricultural products" of the national project "International Cooperation and Export".
The Pushkinskaya Karta project (Pushkin cards) which provides Russian young people with free access to the treasures of Russian culture and traditional values started working on September 1, 2021.
The festival is aimed at popularization of folk arts and handicrafts. It will be arranged with an active backing of the Vologda City Administration and a Handicrafts Centre “Reznoi Palisad (Carved Fence)”.
Vologda traditionally celebrates its founding during the last weekend in June. This year the city celebrates its 876th birthday. The city will celebrate its birthday for 2 days from June 24.
This will be the first edition of the festival with exhibitions of wrought iron creations, forging demonstrations, talks, events and lively atmosphere.

“Summer in the Kremlin” project is in full swing in Vologda.
Artists and musicians bring theatre performances, music and dance to Vologda within the framework of the “Summer in the Kremlin” project. “Summer in the Kremlin” covering different genres and styles of music will last till August 6.
