The 9th of May is a special day for all Russian people. The Vologda Region is one of the highly-developed regions of Russia. Industry makes up the basis of the region's economy amounting for 40,0% in the structure of the gross regional product.
On April 12, the first large-scale exhibition in Vologda dedicated to the art of Japanese graphic stories opened in Vologda. It will last till June 9.
Vologda will host the International Folk Crafts Festival “City of Crafts” on June 27-30, 2024.
