Summer of Russian North: Blacksmith Festival in Ustyuzhna.
The Blacksmith Festival takes place annually in Ustyuzhna. This year it will be held on August 9-10 as part of the Summer of Russian North project initiated by Acting Governor Georgy Filimonov.
On August 10 Totma, one of the oldest cities of the Vologda Region will celebrate its 887th birthday. The city is often called a museum in the open air.
The exhibition “Laces of Russian North” that kicked off at the Tula Museum Association will last till September 21, 2024.
The festival has been officially organized in the Vologda Region since 2014.
In July, 1462 cu m of birch veneer produced by one of Vologda’s enterprises were exported to China. All products meet the phytosanitary requirements of the importing country.
The festival will be one of the most spectacular summer events in Kirillov. It will be held as part of the Summer of the Russian North project initiated by Acting Governor Georgy Filimonov.
