Vologda's ice cream exports increased by 36%.
In June 2025, 70 tons of ice cream were exported from the Vologda Region to China, Mongolia and Senegal.
The festival is to be held in Kirillov District on August 9-10 as part of the Summer of the Russian North project initiated by Vologda Region Governor Georgy Filimonov. It will be held with the support of the Vologda Region Government and the Kirillov Municipality.
Vologda Region Governor Georgy Filimonov had a working meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Russia Zhang Hanhui. The meeting was also attended by Gleb Muzrukov, President of the Russian Wushu Federation.
Vologda City is taking part in the competition "Cultural Capital of Russia 2027". The popular vote for the "Cultural Capital 2027" will last until December 5. 28625 people have already voted for Vologda to become the "Cultural Capital". It takes the second place behind Chelyabinsk (35780 votes).

Vologda's honey was presented at the gastrofestival in Kazan.
In July, a gastronomic festival "Delicious Kazan" was held in the capital of Tatarstan. Tens of thousands of guests from different regions of Russia visited it.
