The Vologda Region's Governor Georgy Filimonov suggested organizing a permanent transport corridor via the port of Arkhangelsk and the Northern Sea Route (NSR), pointing to the interest in it from Vologda timber producers and the region's Chinese counterparts. The governor posted this idea on Telegram following a meeting of governors at Russia's Foreign Ministry.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – PhosAgro, UNESCO and IUPAC have held discussions on the prospects for further cooperation.
A working group meeting took place as part of the 50th-anniversary IUPAC 2025 World Chemistry Congress, titled “Chemistry for a Sustainable Future”, which brought together more than 3,000 delegates from 95 countries. PhosAgro served as the Congress’s general partner.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Recipients of research grants provided by the Green Chemistry for Life programme – a joint initiative of PhosAgro, UNESCO and IUPAC – presented progress reports on the successful outcomes of their projects at the IUPAC 2025 World Chemistry Congress in Kuala Lumpur. The 50th-anniversary Congress, titled “Chemistry for a Sustainable Future”, was organized by the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry, with PhosAgro serving as the event’s general partner. More than 3,000 delegates from all over the world attended the Congress.

Moscow – PhosAgro Group, one of the world’s largest phosphate-based fertilizer producers, increased its supplies of mineral fertilizers to African countries by a third in 2024. The Company’s total fertilizer exports to Africa in 2024 exceeded 730 thousand tonnes, a 33% increase from 2023 (548 thousand tonnes). The top five African importers of PhosAgro’s agrochemical products included South Africa, where shipments increased by 10%; Mozambique, by 80%; Morocco, by around 450%; Cameroon, by 60%; and Ethiopia, which made a large purchase of fertilizers from PhosAgro for the first time in eight years.
