Vologda Region will cooperate with China.

Acting Governor of the Vologda Region Georgy Filimonov met with Zhao Gang, Governor of Shaanxi, an inland province in Northwestern China.
"We have signed a memorandum on friendly relations and cooperation between our regions. We would like to attract investments from China into the Vologda Region’s economy and we are eager to strengthen our friendship. I would like to thank Governor Zhao Gang personally for his willingness to develop bilateral cooperation between our regions, strengthen economic, humanitarian and cultural ties," said Georgy Filimonov, Acting Governor of the Vologda Region.
Last year, China became the Vologda Region's leading partner in the export of agricultural products. At the moment, the authorities of the Vologda Region are considering an opportunity of exporting ice cream and milk powder to China.
