Vologda Oblast Governor congratulated educators on Teachers' Day.

October 5 is a professional holiday which unites all teachers, professors and those who work in the field of education.
This is a special day for the appreciation of teachers that is observed in Russia.
Vologda Oblast Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov noted that to be a teacher means not only the profession, but great mission and permanent work, which demands dedication, big love to it, respect for students and constant professional and personal growth. Today a teacher must not only have special knowledge, newest means and methods of teaching, but know how to develop students' abilities to think, make decisions and create.
Mr. Kuvshinnikov stressed that Teachers’ Day is his family holiday. His mother is a primary school teacher. All her life she taught kids to read and write, learnt poems with them and she used to sit up late correcting children’s works.
He congratulated teachers and educators on this professional holiday and wished health, well-being, inspiration and more talented students.
