Vologda Oblast Goverment, OAO PhosAgro and OAO Severstal sign a cooperation agreement.

The agreement was signed by Acting Governor of the Vologda Oblast Oleg Kuvshinnikov, general director of the OAO Severstal Alexei Mordashov and PhosAgro CEO Andrey Guryev at the initiative of Vologda Oblast Government. The Government of the Vologda Region, Severstal and PhosAgro signed a Protocol of partnership to improve the efficiency of cooperation aimed at the development of social and economic spheres of the Vologda Oblast.
The agreement defines the areas of cooperation of the companies in the regions of joint presence. It is aiming to develop socio-economic potential of Vologda, Murmansk, Leningrad and Saratov Regions. The partnership will be implemented in technical and financial spheres, human resources, and also in providing organizational and methodological support in the implementation of joint projects.
Among the areas for cooperation - development and implementation of programs concerning environmental protection, corporate social responsibility, the exchange of best practices in the field of management of investment projects, procurement of raw materials and services, as well as logistics of rail and air freight.
The Agreement emphasizes that the cooperation will be carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, as well as taking into account the best international corporate standards.
