Vologda Made Product, a trademark of staple products produced on the territory of the region was registered on June 9, 2003. It can be considered an established gastronomic brand of the region.
The Cherepovets Meat Processing Plant became the first participant of the voluntary certification system "Vologda Made Product" in 2003. Today, Vologda Region Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov visited this enterprise, appreciated the achievements and thanked the staff for their contribution to the food security of the region.

4705 branded food articles are produced by Vologda's agricultural enterprises.
81enterprises located on the territory of the Vologda Oblast are leading suppliers of branded food products in the food service industry.
Branded food products (jam, frozen berries, caviar, candy, ice cream) are delivered to CIS countries and 85 Russian regions.
