Vologda Region has joined Memorial Garden international campaign.

Memorial Garden international campaign is timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War.
The international Memorial Garden 2021 campaign ends June 22. By the end of the campaign, 27 million seedlings will be planted to commemorate each of the 27 million deaths around the world.
Vologda Region Governor said that each year the Vologda Region will plant over 400,000 seedlings in memory of the great feat of residents from the Vologda Region who took part in the Great Patriotic War and those who lost their life in the war.
