Today Oleg Kuvshinnikov held a direct communication session during which he responded to questions from citizens of the Vologda Region.
The focus of the question and answer session was on results of the work of the local government in 2015.
The Direct Line with Oleg Kuvshinnikov was broadcast live by Channel TV-7 in Vologda, 12 TV Channel in Cherepovets and governor’s website www.okuvshinnikov.ru. During the live broadcast that lasted 2 hours and 30 minutes, the Vologda Oblast Governor answered over 50 questions out of the over 1,000 that were received.
More than 160 representatives of youth and veteran organizations, as well as activists and journalists from different parts of the Vologda Region were invited to participate in the direct line.
Especially popular in the course of the discussion were questions about the economic development of the region, housing and communal services, public health care, agriculture and education. There were also questions about road construction and repair work, growth in prices, construction of kindergartens and upgrade of emergency medical car-fleet of the Vologda Oblast.
Numerous questions dealing with the region’s life were raised, including those related to healthcare, housing and utility services.
During the direct line Oleg Kuvshinnikov briefed on the region’s performance in 2015 in comparison to 2014. The region hit its record level by several indicators - for the first time ever production of milk exceeded the volume produced in 2012 and made up 465,000 tons, cheese production amounted to 2500 tons.
At the end of the direct line the Governor stressed this form of work will become customary and it will be carried out on a regular basis next year.
