A delegation from Vologda Region led by Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov is taking part in Northwest Mass Media Forum.

The North-West Mass Media Forum SeZam ("SeZam" is an abbreviation of the North-West media) has opened in St. Petersburg for the 14th time. 

Vologda Oblast Governor took part in a meeting of heads of regions of Russia’s North-West in St. Petersburg.

The meeting was chaired by Nikolai Tsukanov, Plenipotentiary Presidential Representative in the North Western Federal District.

Mr. Kuvshinnikov participated in a regional State Council session

The Regional State Council is an advisory body to the Governor, which deals with issues of the highest importance to the region as a whole.

Nikolai Tsukanov newly appointed Presidential Plenipotentiary to Northwestern Federal District arrived in Vologda.

On a visit to the Vologda Region, Mr. Tsukanov held a meeting with the top leadership of the Vologda Oblast Government and discussed issues concerning development of the road network. To increase road capacity, improve transport infrastructure and reduce accidents – these issues were indicated as priorities for Vologda and Russia as a whole.

Vologda Oblast Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov held a working meeting with a Latvian delegation.

The meeting of Vologda’s Governor and the members of the Latvian delegation took place at the local government. It was devoted to activity of the Association of Healthy Cities, Districts and Villages.

Vologda’s Governor met with Sergey Donskoy, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Russia.

The parties discussed further cooperation in the sphere of ecology and protection of the region's settlements from flooding and summed up the results of joint work.

Deputy Governor Victor Ryabishin met with journalists of the Vologda Region.

A press breakfast was held as part of a series of meetings of Vologda’s journalists with top leadership of the Vologda Oblast Government.
