Today Mr. Kuvshinnikov came to the District of Ustyuzhna that used to be a major metallurgical centre in Rus in the 15th-16th centuries. The visit is organized as part of a series of visits throughout the Vologda Oblast examining economic and social development of regions.

Two more educational establishments – Vologda school #1 and Cherepovets Lyceum are included into the list of the 500 best schools of Russia-2015.
