Moroz – Express: train trips from Moscow to Ded Moroz Residence
During this holiday season, Moscow citizens will be able to take a trip to a fairy tale in Veliky Ustyug. Several speed trains will connect Moscow with Residence of Ded Moroz, Russian equivalent of Santa Claus.
On November 4 Russia marks National Unity Day. This day has gone down in history as a day of unity of the people. Its origins go very far back to important events in the Russian history.
Vologda University students took part in a meeting with the regional governor. The meeting was held on October 28. During the conversation, the Governor answered many questions asked by activists of youth movements.
On the eve of National Unity Day celebrated in Russia on November 4, Russian state decorations have been awarded in Vologda today.

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on October 20th introducing a period of non-working days in Russia from October 30th to November 7th. The period of non-working days will be introduced due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It is of paramount importance to stem virus spread. The President said that employees’ salaries should be paid during the nationwide non-working week.
The ice rink in Vologda will be built by mid-2022. The construction readiness is more than 70%. The complex, with its stands for 788 seats, will include an artificial ice rink measuring 28 by 60 meters, changing rooms, trainers’ rooms, fitness facilities and other technical and utility areas.
Governor Mr. Kuvshinnikov congratulated agriculture and processing industry workers on their professional holiday - Agriculture and Processing Industry Workers’ Day.
Students of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration were the first to get acquainted with Oleg Kuvshinnikov's autobiographical book "How to Become/Be a Governor and Stay Alive ". Mr. Kuvshinnikov briefed on his experience of management of the region and told about the book. Oleg Kuvshinnikov is a graduate of the Academy - he graduated from it in 2005 (faculty of management and international business).
Authorities of Vologda Region introduce QR-code system and new restrictions- only holders of QR-codes will be able to enter public catering establishments and cultural events.
