Meeting with university students to mark Russian Students Day
Vologda Region Governor had a meeting with talented, smart, persevering and ambitious representatives of local universities and other higher education institutions of the Vologda Region.

The Vologda Region is to move from large-scale to mass vaccination of the entire population against the coronavirus, said Vologda Region Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov during a meeting with members of the local government on Monday, January 18. The members of the local headquarters for combating the coronavirus reported on the current epidemiologic situation in the region and preparations for the next major phase of public vaccinations.
A large-scale program of modernization of primary health care has been launched in the Vologda Region. The program envisages construction and repair of polyclinics and purchase of modern equipment for the region’s medical institutions.
The opening of a new kindergarten in the District of Vologda will resolve the problem with the lack of kindergarten places in the region.

Vologda Region Governor attended two new schools in the region.
The significant event occurred in Vologda and Sokol - the opening of new schools. The educational institution in Solol is designed for 528 places, it will become home for children from seven and eighteen years of age. The new primary school in Vologda will provide school places for 300 pupils.
Russian President Vladimir Putin held a videoconference meeting on social issues on January 5th.
