The tourist flow to Vologda Region has increased by 300,000 people.

Governor of the Vologda Region Georgy Filimonov briefed on tourism attractiveness of the region during a meeting with members of the local government.
Vologda attracts visitors with its rich cultural heritage, Russian sanctuaries and sacred places, picturesque nature and diverse event agenda.
"The tourist flow to the Vologda Region in 2024 amounted to 4.1 million visitors (+ 300,000 more people y-o-y). Work on increasing the tourist attractiveness of the region will continue," said Georgy Filimonov.
The project "Veliky Ustyug - the birthplace of Ded Moroz" is actively developing. On the eve of the New Year, Russian Ded Moroz visited 11 countries travelling throughout Europe, Asia and the CIS.
