Governor Mr.Kuvshinnikov met with head of the District of Chagoda.

The meeting was held as part of a series of meetings of top leadership of the Vologda Oblast Government with heads of municipalities.
Head of the District of Chagoda Alexander Kosyonkov briefed on the performance of the district in 2015 and its social and economic prospects.
Glass industry is a clear dominant in the district of Chagoda. Glass Industry is represented by the following large enterprises: OOO Chagoda glass-works and Co, OAO Ruscam Pokrovsky glass-works and OAO Smerdomsky glass-works.
OOO Chagodoshchensky Glass-Works and Company is the youngest plant on the market. Owing to the active backing of the local self-government and high-ranking officials of the Vologda Oblast, and also investments from the largest brewing company STEPAN RAZIN, the Chagodoshchensky glass-works was reconstructed and adjusted to production of container glass. The output amounts to 700 mln glass bottles per annum.
The glass plants meet all the prescribed requirements of international standards. They are active participants in international exhibitions and forums and the recipients of diplomas and awards.
