According to the Medialogia agency, the Vologda Region is ranked the leading Russian region in investment attractiveness index report. Moscow and the Magadan Region are among top 3 Russian regions for investment attractiveness.
Today Vologda Oblast Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov met with Director General of the Minsk Tractor Works (Belarus) Fyodor Domotenko in Cherepovets. The meeting that took place at the Cherepovets Founding and Mechanical Plant was devoted to development and strengthening of partnership ties between the Republic of Belarus and the Vologda Oblast.
Taking part in the meeting were representatives of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and business circles, and top leadership of the local government.
March 25, Russia celebrates the Day of workers of culture. The corresponding decree was signed in 2007 by President Vladimir Putin.

On a visit to the Republic of Slovenia, Vologda Oblast Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov had meetings with Slovenian National Council President Mitja Bervar and State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology Aleš Cantarutti.
