The meeting devoted to support measures for some entities of the Russian Federation was held in Moscow and chaired by Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
On July 8th, following instructions issued by Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev came to Vologda to hold a meeting of the Security Council.
VOICES (Vologda Independent Cinema from European Screens Festival) will be held from July 3 through 6, 2015. The highlight of the festival is a cinematographic practice in style based on the production of full-length films by young directors on a predefined subject.

Vologda Oblast Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov and CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of PhosAgro Andrei Guriev laid a cornerstone of a new 500 ths tonne/year granulated urea line on the eve of the Day of the Chemists. Total investments in the construction of the new urea unit and production infrastructure are estimated at RUB 11 billion.
The migrant centre which has no analogues in Russia was opened in Gryazovets, Vologda Region.
Head of the region Oleg Kuvshinnikov arrived at the settlement of Maiskoye not far from Vologda, which is actively developing dairy farming, plant growing and horticulture.
