Georgy Filimonov casts ballot in Russian presidential vote.

Acting Governor Georgy Filimonov has cast his ballot in the presidential vote.
The head of the Vologda Region voted at a polling station in school No.9 in Cherepovets, Vologda Region.
Voting for presidential elections will take place in Russia from March 15-17. It is the first time that the presidential polls in Russia will be conducted over three days.
The candidates who are contesting for top state post in the 2024 election are Vladislav Davankov, Russia's incumbent President Vladimir Putin, Leonid Slutsky and Nikolay Kharitonov.
Residents of the Vologda Region began filing into voting sites as soon as the doors opened at 8 a.m.
