Emergency medical car-fleet of Vologda Oblast to be upgraded.
10.10.2013 15:32

Vologda Oblast Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov and top leadership of a non-profit autonomous organization for healthcare system development “New emergency and urgent care service” singed a number of agreements in the healthcare sphere.
This cooperation under public private partnerships will relieve the oblast’s budget and might free resources for fulfilling the presidential policy decrees signed by RF President Vladimir Putin in May 2012.
At the first stage of the cooperation between the Vologda Oblast Government and an autonomous organization for healthcare system development “New emergency and urgent care service”, 12 emergency vehicles will be shipped to Vologda and 8 – to Cherepovets. By the end of 2014 it is planned to upgrade 80 more emergency vehicles in the Vologda Oblast.
Several Russian regions became pilot sites to develop and test approaches to facilitate emergency system and speed up response times in the first place. “Minutes save lives as the drama of an emergency call unfolds, so all services must be streamlined and as efficient as possible”, said Mr. Kuvshinnikov.
